Leverage effect in relational marketing [Network marketing - MLM]
Using the leverage effect implies moving on from a linear income growth to an exponential one. Relational marketing has been conceived to ensure that your residual income not only depends on your own work, but also on the work of every member in your organization. This eventually allows an exponential income growth.
American billionaire Jean Paul Getty used to say:
I’d rather have one percent of the efforts of 100 people than 100 percent of my own efforts.
Let’s take a look at this. If you work for 8 hours a day, you only get paid for 8 hours. However, if one hundred people work with you for 8 hours, you’ll cash in on 800 hours of work. Would you rather be paid for 8 hours of work, or for 800 hours? What if you could get both? By using the leverage effect in the context of a home company specialized in MLM, you can achieve that.
Would you rather have one percent of the income of one hundred people or the fruit of 100% of your own efforts?
